THE YOUNGBLOODS (RCA '67) Genius debut…this Lp is nothing like you imagine w/a brooding rocked out "Four In The Morning" summing up the entire post '65 60's sound i a neat 2:51 + even wilder fuzzed "Other Side Of This Life"…swingin' "Grizzely Bear", cookin' "Statesboro Blues (they were the best white boy blues band ya know…when they felt like being so) & hauntingly lovely "Get Together" which heard in the Lp's context is way different than the peace/love media hype job it unfortunately got once released as a single. Mature sound as these guys had already freaked in the early FABS era, were pro's, relaxed & knew what was what…as big a deal as the DEAD & AIRPLANE yet they get no respect…you'll be glad you grabbed this.
